Our Vision
For Children's Ministry at MVCC is that we are dedicated to partnering with parents in cultivating personal spiritual growth in their children. Our goal is that children be loved, valued and nurtured in their faith as they become committed followers of Jesus Christ! Children are important people at MVCC and we want only the best for our children!
Our Mission
Is to creatively teach the truth of God's Word in imaginative and impacting ways. We do this in a safe celebrative environment where children are connected, valued, and encouraged. For the same reason Jesus invested in children, we believe that kids grow best when nurtured by loving mentors and teachers. It is our privilege to partner with you in raising a generation that will impact our world for Christ.

Nursery & Toddlers
In the Nursery we have a wonderful opportunity to show God’s littlest lambs and their parent’s the love of Christ through a safe and nurturing experience each and every visit at Mission Viejo Christian Church. It is our goal that each parent will feel assured that their child will be cared for in an attentive and loving manner and that the parent will be notified if their child needs them at any time.
2 yr old - Kindergarten
For ages two through kindergarten, our focus is growing through and learning about God and His Word. We teach our preschoolers about their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We encourage them to discover His love in a nurturing environment through a variety of learning activities including praise and worship; Bible story; Prayer; Snack; and Craft. We send home a take home page each Sunday that has a lesson review so that you know what your child has been learning. This give you as a parent a chance to reinforce the story that they learned in their Sunday school class and helps to nurture the seeds of faith planted in your child.
Elementary Grades 1-6
Our goal for elementary children is to provide an environment where each child will be spiritually challenged to grow in their knowledge and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Through a systematic study of God’s Word, our children are encouraged to discover and explore what God is saying to them and how they can apply it to their own life. We strive to teach by modeling the role of Jesus to each child.
